ALTERNATIVE I

ROUTE: LIMA – PERENÉ– OXAPAMPA POZUZO - LA MERCED /SAN RAMÓN - LIMA
DURATION: 4 DAYS / 3 NIGHTS
CLIENT: ADULT

NIGHT: Leaving from Lima at 21:30 hours from the bus station.

1st. Day: PERENÉ VALLEY – Full day (duration: 8 hours aprox.)

06:00 hours. Arrival in La Merced, reception and transfer to accommodation chosen.
08:00 hours. Breakfast.
09:00 hours. We start the tour observing Native Dormido which is an amazing geological formation. We continue the path for Yurinaki Port, after a brief walk; meet the charming and surprising Bayoz and Velo de la Novia cataracts, relaxing in crystal waters and natural pools. Return to enjoy a typical lunch. We move to Zutsiki Port for a boat ride to an outboard motor on the Perene River. Arriving at the Native Community Ashaninka “Pampa Michi” where we learn their history, enjoy their native music and dance. We end our day in this place enjoying in a typical Ashaninka campfire with live music. Finally, we visit a Mini Coffee Processing Plant and fruits (tasting and buying) Return to accommodation.
Overnight.

2nd.Day: OXAPAMPA – POZUZO – Full day (duration: 10 hours aprox.)

07:30 hours. Breakfast.
08:30 pm. Departure to Oxapampa; during the day we see the great diversity of flora and fauna, know the Perene Bridge, the District of San Luis de Shuaro (the land of the tamales), the Paucartambo Bridge (boundary between Junín and Pasco). Following the route we can see beautiful scenery. Arrival to Oxapampa. Typical lunch. Visit the Church of Santa Rosa, principal typical houses, plant Artisan "The Wharapo" where the liquor is made and the traditional huarapo (tasting and purchase). The Tunki cave where we will observe the formation of stalagmites and stalactites, the Rancho "Ruffner Hannibal", the "Floralp" plant where you can taste and buy different kinds of cheese and natural products. In the afternoon, we go to Pozuzo Community, we cross the National Park Yanachaga Chemillen, where we appreciate the Rayantambo and Yulitunki falls. Arrival to Pozuzo.
Overnight.

3est. Day.- POZUZO – OXAPAMPA - LA MERCED – Full day (duration: 8 hours aprox.)

07:00 hours Breakfast.
08:30 hours. We start our itinerary with a City Tour: Colonos Cementary, Shafferer Museum, San Jose Church, and Padre Egg. Monumental, Emperador Guillermo I Bridge and Sagrado Corazon de Jesus Church. Typical lunch. In the afternoon, while we return, we visit the Prusia Neighborhood where we appreciate typical houses. Return to Oxapampa and then La Merced. Overnight.

4th. Day: LA MERCED – SAN RAMÓN – Full day (duration: 7 hours aprox.)

07:30 hours. Breakfast.
09:30.hours. We start the tour with the San Ramon city where we will know the Main Plaza, the Albariño Park, continuing with the tour we walk through a beautiful path to the Tirol Cataract (refreshing dip). Then we return to La Merced to visit the "Kimiri" Bridge. Typical lunch. In the afternoon we visit the Butterfly Farm and the Mini Zoo Zhaveta Yard. Finally, we climb to the lookout "Gran Cruz de Chanchamayo" to have an amazing panoramic view of the Chanchamayo Valley.
21:30 hours. Transfer to the bus station to return to Lima.

3st. Day: LA MERCED – SAN RAMÓN – Full day (duration: 7 hours aprox.)

07:30 hours. Breakfast.
09:30.hours. 4th. Day: KIMO – Full day (duration: 6 horas aprox.)
08:00 hours. Breakfast.
09:30 we start our tour by van for 20 minutes approximately to enter through Huaro to Kimo Camp. A brief walk watching beautiful jungle landscapes. We observe the Kimocoha Lagoon, walking for 15 minutes approximately inside the forest to see Piedra en el Aire Cataracts. Return to the camp enjoying the green areas and cabins. Rest in hammocks. Typical lunch. Transfer to La Merced downtown and free time.
21:30 hours. Transfer to the bus station to return to Lima.
